Overview
Senior Business Development Director UKI & Nordics - Remote at Cycloid. This role is fully remote, you can be located anywhere in UKI Nordics. Cycloid focuses on scaling platform engineering initiatives. We optimise the developer experience and operational efficiency by accelerating the delivery of a portal and platform, alleviating the cognitive load on IT teams and advocating for FinOps & Green IT practices.
With our Internal Developer Portal and Platform, you donβt need to start from scratch to get a fully customised solution. Platform teams design, build and run the platform enabling end-users to visualise, deploy and manage existing and new projects, interact with cutting-edge DevOps and Cloud automation without the need to become an expert, while keeping best practices in place, cloud expenses under control with a minimum carbon footprint.
Cycloid is an Internal Developer Platform and an internal developer Portal with modules around self-service portal and platform orchestration, project lifecycle and resources management, FinOps and GreenOps and plugins. It can be consumed through the console, in CLI or in API. We are recognised by leaders such as Gartner, IDC, Forrester and we work on the enterprise market. One goal: to make our internal developer platform and portal the leading platform in the world, done sustainably.

- Be the product ambassador to our prospects
- Participate in the improvement of business processes
- Participate in the recruitment of your teammates
- Participate in the construction of the corporate culture of Cycloid
- Promote the image and reputation of the company
- Communicate the value of Cycloid and help customers understand how our platform is beneficial
- Contribute to the development of the Cycloid pipeline with a proactive hunting approach: LinkedIn, Cycloid database, newspapers, networks, events etc.
- Follow the entire sales cycle: prospecting, pipeline, negotiation, and closing
- Work hand in hand with Sales, Partners, Marketing, Pre-sales, Product and Technical teams to provide them with customer needs and product feedback, fuel the product roadmap
- Analyse market developments and competitive offers to adapt understanding and discourse
- Manage the upsell of customers
- Provide clear Hubspot reporting: weekly, monthly, quarterly and early

What to bring to the table
- A conclusive experience of more than 10+ years in IT editors in UKI & Nordics
- You will be part of a dedicated UKI team with presales and alliance support
- The capacity to close an average deal > β¬250 000 ARR + on an enterprise market
- A desire and ability to work with multinational companies & key accounts with an average sales cycle of 6 to 12 months
- A clear understanding of our product; Infrastructure, IDP, dev tools, CMP
- A true hunter mindset and a great network on CTO, CIO, lead DevOps, Lead Platform, Lead Infra, Lead Dev
- A closer mindset and recognised as an expert in your field
- A preference for working within an international team
