Cycling UK are seeking an experienced and driven Head of New Programmes and Business Development to lead the development, mobilisation, and delivery of new restricted programmes across our Behaviour Change and Development Directorate and, where required, the wider organisation.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with senior leaders and specialist teams across the organisation to shape compelling, fundable programme models; write high‑quality bids; and secure new income from trusts, foundations, and statutory funders.
- Manage relationships with prospective and existing funders and ensure that newly secured programmes are mobilised and delivered effectively, compliantly, and to a consistently high standard.
- Have end‑to‑end responsibility for programme management across new workstreams, including planning, budgets, reporting, risk and performance.
- Ensure behaviour change models and evidence frameworks are applied consistently.
- Capture robust data to demonstrate impact and value, including social, transport and health outcomes.
