Position Summary
This full‑time 12‑month fixed‑term contract position is located at our Cambridge office and requires a hybrid working arrangement (minimum 3 days in office).
What You’ll Be Doing
- Create and refresh engaging marketing content for product launches and existing marketing material across neurology and oncology, including websites, brochures, press releases, emails and digital adverts.
- Ensure all content is accurate, engaging, brand‑aligned and compliant with industry regulations.
- Manage marketing communications plans, delivering consistent messaging across channels.
- Support product launches and cross‑functional campaigns with innovative communication strategies.
- Collaborate with teams and external partners to drive timely and high‑quality project delivery.
- Ensure all content meets accessibility and compliance requirements, resolving any issues proactively.
- Support the review and approval of promotional materials, including FDA 2253 submissions.
- Support and mentor junior colleagues, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity and best‑practice sharing.
- Manage deadlines and prioritise workload independently and in line with business priorities.
Required Skills and Experience
- Degree‑level education or equivalent; CIM/CAM qualification or relevant industry experience.
- Proven experience in marketing or communications, ideally within pharma, biotech, medical devices or healthcare.
- Strong scientific literacy with the ability to quickly understand new therapeutic areas and products.
- A confident copywriter who produces clear, compelling content with minimal editing.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Familiarity with Veeva PromoMats or similar approval systems.
- Knowledge of FDA regulations or equivalent regulatory frameworks.
- Experience with FDA submission processes (e.g., 2253 filings).
