Turn your cycling obsession into a career! If you’re the person your mates message for bike advice, you’ll feel right at home here. We’re looking for a confident, customer-first Online Sales Executive to join Cycle Exchange at our flagship Kingston store. You’ll be at the heart of our sales conversations helping riders choose the right bike, dial in sizing, compare spec options, and upgrade their setup. Your customers will range from first-time road riders to seasoned racers, and the questions will keep you on your toes (in the best way). This is a sales role, but it’s not “sell at all costs.” We’re service-first, advice-led, and proud of the trust we’ve built in the premium pre‑owned market.
What you’ll be doing:
- Responding to inbound enquiries via email, phone, live chat and WhatsApp
- Supporting online customers at our Kingston flagship
- Helping riders with bike choice, sizing, geometry, spec and value comparisons
- Linking our customer request list to matching stock and suggesting great alternatives
- Advising on parts, upgrades and compatibility (working closely with our workshop team)
- Supporting Trade in conversations, including initial pricing and suitability checks
- Building long‑term relationships with repeat customers who genuinely love bikes
Note this role does include one day at the weekend.
Why this role is different:
Cycle Exchange isn’t a standard bike shop, and this isn’t a standard sales job. Because we buy and sell premium pre‑owned bikes, you’ll handle a constantly changing range of brands, model years, and builds meaning you’ll learn fast, develop real product knowledge, and become the person customers trust when the decision matters. You’ll be surrounded by people who care about doing things properly, and you’ll have direct access to our technicians so you can give accurate advice on setup, compatibility, and costs.
What we’re looking for:
- A genuine cycling enthusiast (road, gravel, MTB, e‑bike—anything welcome)
- Confident communicating on phone and live chat as well as email
- Naturally helpful and able to explain things clearly to all ability levels
- Organised and comfortable juggling multiple conversations at once
- Commercially aware, able to guide customers to the right decision without pressure
- Interested in developing deep knowledge across geometry, spec, value and upgrades
About Cycle Exchange:

Every day we connect with thousands of riders, and we’ve built our reputation on honesty, trust, deep knowledge and standout service. We have big plans, we’re growing quickly, and opportunities open up as we scale.
