We are Cycle Exchange and we are on a mission to change bike retail in the UK and beyond. Are you an experienced bike mechanic looking for a new and different opportunity? You should come and talk to us. We are hiring for our refurbishment centre in Kingston. This is not a normal bike shop role.

The Role Details

We are looking for an experienced and motivated mechanic to join our team in Kingston upon Thames. The role is incredibly varied as we cover 100's of brands across all bike disciplines. Your role will include reconditioning premium bicycles for re-sale, customising bicycles for bespoke orders, handling warranty matters as well as contributing to the great customer experience of Cycle Exchange. This role is part time and would suit someone who can work a Saturday or Sunday as part of their weekly rota.

Your skills must include:

  • Minimum 1 year workshop experience with premium bicycles
  • Excellent working knowledge of modern bicycle standards and systems
  • Ability to service and repair bicycles to the highest standard and within expected timeframes
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Be a team player but also work effectively on your own
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to ever evolving bicycle design and platforms
