Maintenance Assistant

We are currently looking for a passionate Maintenance Assistant to join the team here at Bankside Hotel – Voted one of the \’Best Places to Work Hospitality\’ 3 years in a row. Sitting consistently in the top tier of all the hotels in London on Trip Advisor, Bankside Hotel is a social hub for anyone, guest or local, with a passion for culture, art and food. MAIN SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
· To provide maintenance cover at the hotel while on shift.
· To perform preventative and reactive maintenance tasks in hotel.
· Deliver exceptional customer service whilst carrying out duties.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Carry out preventative checks on hotel equipment.
· Carry out fault finding and minor repairs to water systems.
· Carry out fault finding and minor repairs to electrical systems.
· Carry out fault finding and minor repairs to air conditioning systems.
· Carry out minor repairs to wall coverings.
· Carry out general repairs as required.
· Maintain accurate records of work completed.
· Assist supervisor/manager in carrying out tasks.
