As a Senior Frontend Engineer on our RiskOS team, you will be instrumental in building intuitive, highâperformance, and dependable web applications that empower our users to proactively detect and prevent risk.
You will participate in every stage of the software development lifecycleâfrom architecture and design through implementation, testing, and production support. Leveraging modern frontend technologies and development patterns, youâll advocate for best practices and mentor other engineers. What Youâll Do:
- Develop robust user interfaces from highâfidelity designs and functional specifications of varying complexity.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver an exceptional, customerâcentric product.
- Own features endâtoâend, from design reviews to production rollout, ensuring high quality, usability, and performance.
- Create comprehensive unit, integration, and endâtoâend tests for robust code and broad functional coverage.
- Break down complex technical and product challenges into actionable tasks and drive them to successful completion.
- Contribute to the evolution of our design systems and frontend architecture to enhance scalability, maintainability, and developer experience.
- Partner with backend and infrastructure engineers to define efficient APIs and data contracts.
- Mentor and coach fellow engineers by sharing expertise, conducting code reviews, and promoting engineering best practices.
- Champion accessibility, performance, and security throughout frontend development.
- Work in an agile, fastâpaced environment focused on rapid delivery and continuous improvement.
What Youâll Bring:
- 5â7 years of experience developing modern web applications using TypeScript, React, and popular workflows (e.g., Flux, Redux, or equivalent).
- Proven track record of writing clean, reusable, wellâtested, and maintainable code.
- Experience collaborating with product designers and crossâfunctional teams.
- Strong focus on user experience and empathy for end users when designing UI flows and interactions.
- Handsâon experience with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Framer, or InVision.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like Google Cloud or AWS (preferred).
- Experience with nodeâbased graph libraries (e.g., reactâflow, litegraph.js) is a strong plus.
- Deep understanding of frontend performance optimization, accessibility (WCAG), and security best practices.
- Experience building and scaling design systems or component libraries is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
