Working within the End User Support team, the Service Desk Engineer provides technical support and maintenance to all supported IT business users, systems, hardware, and applications. Whilst providing expert technical support, the Service Desk Engineer will ensure incidents and requests are resolved in an efficient and professional manner in line with service level commitments. This role offers clear opportunities for progression and professional development, providing a strong pathway to grow capability and advance your career within a dynamic technology organisation.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is enthusiastic, reliable, and keen to learn and progress in IT
- Has knowledge of Windows 10/11 and common desktop hardware (laptops, PCs, printers)
- Has exposure to Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive) or a willingness to learn
- Understands IT fundamentals such as user accounts, passwords, and permissions
- Delivers excellent customer service and communicates effectively
- Takes a logical approach to troubleshooting technical issues
- Is able to follow processes, document work, and update tickets clearly
- Can manage time and priorities in a busy support environment
