Overview
At Cheam Leisure Centre Everyone Active is currently seeking an ambitious and self‑motivated individual to take on this role and is ready to embrace our brand mission of 30 minutes of activity 5 times a week.
Responsibilities and duties
- Drive income targets and financial KPIs.
- Support health and safety and drive operational excellence while supporting the development of the centre and the team.
- Manage day‑to‑day operations of the centre ensuring the highest levels of customer service and safety.
- Lead on increasing activity and ensure all programming is working effectively.
- Act as a role model for the centre's team, creating a fun and friendly environment for colleagues and customers.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a good understanding of IT.
- Lead the operations team and be specifically responsible for managing the Everyone Active Quality Management Systems and processes in all areas of the business.
- Step up to the General Manager role when required.
- Cover shifts as necessary, including day, evening, weekend, and public holidays.
Qualifications
- National Pool Lifeguard, First Aid at Work & Pool Plant Operators qualifications are desirable; training will be provided and completion in an agreed timescale is expected.
- Experience in operations management within a leisure or fitness environment.
- Strong communication and IT skills.
