We’re working with a small, high-calibre consultancy supporting senior leaders across UK defence on complex technology and transformation challenges. They’re looking for someone with a strong consulting background who can get stuck in quickly and operate with a high degree of independence. This isn’t a role where you sit above the work – you’ll be trusted to deliver end-to-end, from shaping thinking through to producing high-quality outputs.
You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across government and defence, helping them make sense of complex technology decisions and drive transformation forward. Day to day, you’ll:
- Shape technology strategies, digital transformation, including future states, roadmaps, operating models, governance, investment priorities.
- Produce high-quality client deliverables, including slide decks, reports and briefings.
- Take ownership of meeting outputs, notes and follow-ups, ensuring everything is clear and delivered on time.
- Be a trusted advisor to stakeholders.
- Turn complex ideas into structured, practical recommendations.

- A strong background in management consulting experience leading technology, digital transformation or strategic advisory engagements.
- Someone comfortable working independently and taking ownership of their work.
- Willingness to get into the detail, including slides, admin and coordination work.
- Expert level experience across technology, digital transformation, AI, data or cloud.
- Confident communicator who can engage senior stakeholders.
Candidates must have an active SC clearance or be eligible and comfortable to obtain one.
