I’m currently supporting a client, a leading building management systems specialist, in their search for an experienced BMS Commissioning Engineer to join their Major Projects division in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a high-performing team delivering complex, multi-million-pound BMS projects across some of the most prestigious developments in the capital. Key Responsibilities
- Commission and complete BMS installations across complex, high-value projects
- Work to tight deadlines and budgets while maintaining high standards
- Interpret electrical drawings, control schematics, and MEP drawings accurately
- Collaborate with Project Managers, contractors, and end clients to ensure smooth delivery
- Make adjustments to pre-configured software and graphics where required
- Provide technical support and maintain a professional, customer-focused approach
What We’re Looking For
- A proactive and positive approach to Health & Safety
- Experience as a BMS Commissioning Engineer
- Familiarity with Trend or Schneider StruxureWare systems (Siemens, Tridium, or Distech also considered)
- Understanding of air, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical/control wiring diagrams and associated software
- Experience maintaining commissioning records, trackers, and reports
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- High attention to detail and a quality-first mindset
- Flexibility to travel across Central London and surrounding areas
