My client is currently working with a specialist engineering business delivering BMS, energy management and integrated building controls across commercial, residential and public sector projects. They are looking to appoint an experienced Commissioning Engineer to support their growing London project portfolio.
You will lead full commissioning cycles across London-based projects, from installation verification through to client handover. The role combines site-based commissioning with home-based reporting and planning.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead commissioning of HVAC systems, BMS/controls, sensors, actuators and associated plant
- Installation verification, panel checks and point-to-point testing
- Execution of commissioning scripts, cause & effect matrices and functional performance testing
- Fault finding across BMS hardware, controllers, networks and field devices
- Optimising control strategies to improve energy efficiency and system stability
- Producing commissioning documentation including RAMS, test sheets, reports and handover packs
- Liaising with PMs, engineers, subcontractors and clients throughout delivery
- Proven BMS commissioning experience across commercial projects
- Strong HVAC and controls knowledge with hands-on fault-finding capability
- Experience producing commissioning documentation and managing compliance
- Confident working independently and leading commissioning phases on site
