A well-established and highly respected Building Management Systems specialist is recruiting a BEMS Project Engineer for their Central London region. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced BMS/BEMS Engineer looking to step into a broader project-focused role, combining engineering, design, and project delivery responsibilities across a range of small to medium-sized projects.

The Opportunity
This hybrid role offers flexibility between home working, site visits across Central London, and access to a London office base. You’ll take ownership of delivering BMS projects from order through to completion, with responsibility spanning technical delivery, project coordination, and commercial control.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and engineer small to medium-sized BMS projects from order to completion
- Oversee project delivery, including planning, coordination, and execution across single or multiple sites
- Design and develop BMS control strategies and solutions (time permitting)
- Carry out commissioning activities where required
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety requirements, including site audits
- Coordinate labour and resource planning with internal teams
- Maintain financial and budgetary control across projects
- Supervise subcontractors where required
- Conduct site surveys to support project design and quotations
- Support wider engineering activities during quieter project periods
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience within the BMS/BEMS industry
- Strong technical knowledge of Schneider EcoStruxure or Trend systems
- Experience with Tridium, ALC, or similar platforms (advantageous)
- Solid understanding of mechanical plant and building services systems
- Experience in BMS control strategy design, engineering, and commissioning
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capabilities
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Well organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across London
Qualifications (Desirable)
- Relevant engineering qualification (Building Services, Electrical, or similar)
- CSCS card or equivalent

- Salary: £50,000 – £65,000 (depending on experience)
