My Client is looking for an experienced Support (Service) Engineer to join their growing Data Centres Support Division in an onsite role covering the Slough / West Drayton / Hayes area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and highly respected building controls business that genuinely values collaboration, development, and employee wellbeing.
Location: Candidates must live within a comfortable commuting distance of Slough, West Drayton, or Hayes.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventative maintenance and diagnostics on building control systems
- Produce concise service and PPM reports in line with customer KPIs
- Maintain service schedules and maintenance trackers
- Complete small repairs and remedial works
- Conduct routine inspections of BMS equipment
- Respond to reactive service and breakdown calls
- Accurately document maintenance activities and client interactions
Ideal Candidate
- Experience within the Building Controls / BMS industry
- Knowledge of Schneider EcoStruxure preferred
- Experience with Tridium, Trend IQVision, or ALC advantageous (training available)
- Good understanding of mechanical plant
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and customer-facing abilities
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Full UK driving licence
- Willing to participate in an on-call rota
