The Technical Consultant plays a critical role in the Technical Delivery team, supporting our clients with any technical issues they may face. This role involves delivering high-quality, fast-paced break fix resolutions, ensuring stability and security for our clients. In addition to Technical Delivery, the consultant will also support and deliver IT infrastructure projects across a variety of technology stacks including but not limited to networking and cloud migration projects as well as supporting on Cyber Recovery engagements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT services, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a proven track record of successful project delivery. You will also be expected to support other functions and teams, within reason, as we navigate our way through the rapid growth phase of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Delivery: Ensure the delivery of high-quality services that meet or exceed client expectations.
- Team Leadership: Support, mentor, and develop junior engineers.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Technical Delivery Team.
- Project Delivery: Assist with the planning, execution, and delivery of Cyber recovery engagements and projects, ensuring they are completed at pace and within scope.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a technical escalation.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT services, with at least 1 year in a technical role delivering professional services or being part of project delivery teams.
- Skills: Outstanding technical skills and understanding (Microsoft 365 and general IT infrastructure).
- Experience in an IT MSP service desk environment.
- Experience with project management and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
