About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Microsoft Azure Architect to join our team. This role is pivotal in designing, implementing, and optimizing Azure cloud solutions that drive business transformation for our customers. The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience with Azure services, cloud security, networking, and automation, ensuring scalable and resilient cloud architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Architecture & Design: Lead the design and implementation of Azure-based architectures, ensuring they meet security, scalability, and performance requirements.
  • Azure Migration & Modernization: Drive cloud migration projects, transforming legacy applications and infrastructure to Azure-native solutions.
  • Designing Azure Landing Zones: To enable modular cloud deployments into complex environments.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement Azure security best practices, ensuring compliance with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Benchmarks.
  • Hybrid Cloud Solutions: Design and manage hybrid environments leveraging Azure Arc, ExpressRoute, and hybrid identity solutions.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate deployments using Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, or PowerShell.
  • Networking & Connectivity: Architect and optimize Azure Virtual Networks (VNet), VPN, ExpressRoute, and Private Link.
  • Azure DevOps & Automation: Implement CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps to streamline cloud deployments.
  • Performance Optimization & Cost Management: Continuously monitor and optimize cloud environments for cost-efficiency and performance.
  • Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Provide guidance to engineering teams and collaborate with stakeholders to drive cloud adoption.
  • Client Engagement & Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor, working directly with clients to understand their business objectives and develop cloud strategies.

Required Skills & Expertise:

  • Expertise in designing and implementing Microsoft Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions.
  • Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and containerization.
  • Significant experience with the entire Microsoft Defender for Cloud product suite and experience with Azure Arc.
  • Expertise in Azure Landing Zones.
  • Deep knowledge of Azure networking, firewalls, DDoS protection, ExpressRoute, and general traffic management.
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, Python, or Bash.
  • Strong experience with multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Strong knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning (BCP) in cloud environments.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, Data Lake, and AI/ML workloads.

  • AZ-305 – Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • AZ-500 – Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
  • AZ-104 – Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
