A global leader of turnkey solutions in the Rail & Rolling Stock industry is looking to expand their Engineering & Cyber Security Team.
The Engineering team requires a Rail System Cyber Engineer to deliver their expertise on the delivery of new and existing projects. You will be involved in the design and delivery of secure onboard systems that will ultimately enable the trains to continue operating and be as secure from external threats as possible.
The Role
The Rolling Stock Cyber Security Engineer would ultimately be supporting the protection of the onboard systems and communication networks, ensuring that security and threat mitigation have been considered throughout every step of the design process and project lifecycle.
The Cyber Engineer would be heavily involved with Supplier Management, Selection, and Evaluation. This will involve vetting them and ensuring they adhere to all standards. You will also need to have a thorough understanding of each project’s requirements in order to conduct risk assessments to identify potential threats. Your expertise will be utilized to identify further weaknesses by completing vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.
The Cyber Engineer will also work closely with the client and be involved with writing Risk Reports.

- Worked in an Operational industry (Defence, Rail, Automotive, Aerospace, Maritime, etc.)
- Strong communication skills
- Testing, Design, or Systems Engineering experience
- Interest in or some exposure to OT Cyber Security
