Cyber Security Apprentice – £24,000 pa

An IT MSP are looking for 2 motivated Cyber Security Apprentices to join their team, where you’ll develop essential skills within Cyber Security. This role offers practical learning so ideal for a first time role in the industry.

Please note that you will be based either in the East Midlands office or the North East office, depending on what is closer to you.

Key Duties

  • Assist in monitoring network activity and detecting potential threats and vulnerabilities
  • Help in identifying, reporting, and mitigating security risks
  • Support the team in responding to security incidents and implementing response strategies
  • Conduct regular system checks and audits to ensure security protocols are up to date
  • Stay informed on the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies

Candidate Requirements

  • Living in the East Midlands Area (Nottingham, Derbyshire) or North East area of England (County Durham, Gateshead, Newcastle, North Tyneside, Northumberland, South Tyneside, and Sunderland)
  • Employed, self-employed, career changers, returners to work or unemployed within the last 12 months
  • Have the right to live and work in the UK
  • Have access to a reliable internet connection with a PC/ Laptop

Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: £24,000 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

South Shields: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
