We are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join our cyber security company on a fixed-term maternity cover basis (1 yr). Reporting into the CFO, this role covers all aspects of Management Accounting from accounts preparation through to board reporting and cashflow forecasts. The successful candidate will be working within a dynamic Team covering Accounting, Transactional Finance, Legal and Compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of the Group Management Accounts, including preparing commercial analysis.
- Preparing draft monthly Board reporting.
- Calculation and posting of key supplier accruals, deferred income and prepayments etc.
- Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.
- Production of VAT returns and corporation tax analysis.
- Cash forecasting.
- Supporting CFO with adoption of AI tools.
- A key stakeholder in the preparation of statutory accounts and liaison with auditors.
- General accounts duties including carrying out daily/weekly finance tasks for the wider Group e.g. credit checks, supporting transactional Team on ad hoc basis.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Pro-active and motivated individual who is committed to accuracy and strives for success.
- Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA).
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to plan and prioritise workload efficiently and successfully perform duties under pressure.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel including VLOOKUP’s and Pivot Tables.
- AI skills desirable.

Contract type: Fixed Term Maternity Cover (1 yr).
Working location: Flexible, hybrid working position. Allowing you to enjoy the flexibility of working from home whilst also having the option to work from one of our many local hubs spread throughout the UK. Ad-hoc travel to offices within the group and other locations may be required on occasion.
