At Cyberis Reply, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality cyber security services that make a measurable difference to our clients.

As part of our collaborative and highly experienced team, you will be expected to manage defined responsibilities from an early stage, with guidance, review and escalation support available from experienced colleagues.

We recognise that our people are key to our success and offer a supportive, flexible working environment, including excellent opportunities for professional development.

While our office is based in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, this role can be primarily home-based, with occasional travel to client sites and attendance at our office approximately 1-2 days per month.

During the probationary period, however, more frequent attendance at the office will be required to support onboarding, training, collaboration, and integration with the wider team.

Job Description

As a

Technical Account Consultant , you will be responsible for managing routine client enquiries, coordinating sales activity, maintaining accurate opportunity records and supporting clients in understanding, selecting and gaining value from Cyberis Reply’s cyber security services.

You will develop practical knowledge of client environments, priorities, assurance requirements and business objectives, and will use this insight to progress account activity, prepare client communications and support well-informed service discussions.

The role will involve owning defined activities across the sales lifecycle, including responding to inbound enquiries, maintaining CRM records, coordinating meetings, supporting technical scoping discussions, preparing proposals and quotations, and contributing to bid or ITT responses.

More complex commercial or technical matters will be supported by senior sales and technical colleagues.

Working closely with our consultants, delivery teams, PMO and senior sales colleagues, you will be expected to coordinate activity, follow through on actions, manage deadlines and help ensure clients receive clear, timely and accurate information.

This is a hands-on consultant-level role suited to someone who is technically curious, organised, commercially aware and ready to take responsibility while continuing to learn.

This role offers a clear development pathway from junior-level account management responsibilities through to full ownership of strategic client relationships and commercial opportunities.

As your knowledge, confidence and experience grow, you will progressively take on greater responsibility for managing accounts, shaping solutions and contributing to business growth, with typical progression occurring over the first 18-36 months depending on individual performance and development.

Working within a specialist cyber security consultancy, you will gain exposure to a wide range of security services, technologies, client environments and industry sectors.

This provides an excellent foundation for progression into more senior roles.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a professional point of contact for routine client enquiries, ensuring questions, requests and follow-up actions are captured, progressed and responded to in a timely manner.
  • Take responsibility for maintaining accurate CRM records, opportunity updates, client notes, meeting actions and sales pipeline information.
  • Coordinate client meetings, scoping calls and internal handovers, ensuring the right information is gathered and shared with sales, technical and delivery colleagues.
  • Build a working understanding of client environments, priorities, assurance needs and cyber security objectives to support effective account management and service discussions.
  • Translate straightforward client requirements into suitable service options, using Cyberis Reply’s standard service descriptions, proposal material and guidance from technical colleagues where required.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, presentations, bid responses and other client-facing materials, taking ownership of accuracy, completeness and timely production, with review for complex or higher-risk opportunities.
  • Clearly communicate the value of Cyberis Reply’s services, including how they are delivered, the outcomes clients can expect and the practical benefits they provide.
  • Work with consultants, delivery teams and the PMO to clarify engagement scopes, resolve routine queries and support a smooth customer journey from enquiry through to delivery.

You will

  • Be UK-based and eligible and willing to undergo UK government clearance (SC minimum).
  • Have a genuine interest in cyber security, technology, consultancy, professional services or technical sales.
  • Have foundational knowledge of modern technology, gained through a degree, apprenticeship, self-study, placement, internship or early career experience.
  • Be able to take ownership of assigned tasks, manage competing priorities, follow agreed processes and meet deadlines without continual supervision.
  • Be comfortable engaging directly with clients and colleagues, capturing requirements, asking clear questions and following through on agreed actions.
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, accurate and professional client-facing material.
  • Be organised, reliable and detail-focused, with the ability to maintain accurate records and progress actions to completion.
  • Be comfortable working with client requirements, meeting notes, proposal content, pricing information and internal records.
  • Have a relevant degree, equivalent qualification, apprenticeship, placement experience or demonstrable practical interest in cyber security, technology, business or account management.
  • Any experience, study or certification relating to cyber security, information security, computer science, networking, cloud platforms or business technology.
  • Any client-facing, customer service, sales, consultancy, internship, placement or project experience.
  • Experience preparing written material such as reports, proposals, presentations, coursework, research summaries or professional communications.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, sales processes, bid coordination or professional services environments would be helpful but is not essential.
  • An interest in commercial awareness, risk management, contracting or how professional services are sold and delivered.
  • Personal Attributes
  • Responsible and proactive, with the confidence to own assigned tasks and follow them through to completion.
  • Curious and eager to learn, with a strong interest in cyber security and client-facing work.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented, with the judgement to ask for guidance or elevate when required.
  • Adaptable and comfortable taking responsibility in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Careful and accurate, with good attention to detail in written work, client-facing documentation and internal records.
  • Remuneration and benefits
  • Salary £30,000 - £40,000 negotiable dependent on skills and experience
  • Matched company pension up to 5%
