My client, who are a government funded organisation, working within the public sector are looking for an additional User Experience Research Consultant to come in and work initially on a 12 week basis fully remote. You must have had experience of working alongside Gov.uk, please do not apply if this is not the case!

Responsibilities

  • Be an advocate of rapid iterative testing during development and upfront product discovery research.
  • Create and lead UX Research processes and strategy within an agile development environment, while working across multiple teams and platforms.
  • Conduct lab-based testing, diary studies, in-depth interviews, user groups, or remote evaluations to solve problems and answer questions and bring the right set of tools.
  • Work closely with design and development teams to ensure the UX specification is translated into visual design and code.

Qualifications

  • 3-4 years' experience working at an agency or client-side doing user research, quantitative and qualitative research, or usability roles.
  • Experience of working alongside Gov.uk is required.
  • Experience consulting alongside a UX team of 2 designers, one junior researcher and two Front End developers within a mature delivery team.
  • Ability to lead on research planning and focus on research rather than design.

Due to the nature of the work and sector no work permits will be considered for this role.
