Overview
My client, a government funded organisation working within the public sector, is looking for an additional User Experience Research Consultant to join on an initial 12 week basis fully remote. You must have experience of working alongside Gov.uk.
Responsibilities
- Lead UX Research processes and strategy within an agile development environment across multiple teams and platforms.
- Conduct a range of research methods including lab-based testing, diary studies, in-depth interviews, user groups, and remote evaluations to address questions and problems.
- Collaborate closely with design and development teams to ensure the UX specification translates into visual design and code.
- Plan and execute research activities with a focus on rapid iterative testing during development and upfront product discovery.
- May work alongside a UX team consisting of 2 designers, one junior researcher, and two Front End developers within a mature delivery team.
Qualifications
- 3–4 years’ experience doing user research in an Agency or client-side role, with experience across quantitative and qualitative research or usability testing.
- Experience working with Gov.uk or in a similarly regulated/public sector context is highly desirable.

- The role requires being fully remote for the 12-week initial period.
