Contract Project Manager - Inside IR35 - up to £500 per day. Hybrid (remote + 1 day/week in London). Initial 6-month contract | Start: ASAP
We are working with a broadcaster, who are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their Cyber Risk and Resilience function on an initial 6-month engagement. This role sits inside IR35 and offers predominantly remote work, with just one day per week required in the London office.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Cyber Risk and Resilience, the Project Manager will act as the organisational glue across multiple Technology working groups. You will ensure plans are tracked, dependencies are visible, and milestones—including a key February planning phase—are achieved. This role is perfect for a proactive, detail-driven PM who thrives on structure, communication, and delivering in fast-paced, highly collaborative environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the master project plan and governance tracker, leading fortnightly status meetings and reporting progress to senior stakeholders.
- Own Jira and Confluence environments, ensuring all activities, from contract reviews to technical tests, are up to date and accurately tracked.
- Proactively coordinate across Technology teams and external suppliers to ensure deadlines are met.
- Identify and manage risks, blockers, and dependencies, keeping the project momentum strong.
- Support test coordination and documentation for resilience and restoration exercises.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience as a Contract Project Manager delivering complex, multi-team technology projects.
- Strong ability to use Jira for non-development workstreams (e.g., infrastructure, operational readiness).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills able to chase updates and hold others accountable when needed.
- Proficiency in collaboration tools such as Confluence, Slack, and Google Suite.
- Experience in Cyber, IT Infrastructure, or Broadcast environments is advantageous but not mandatory.
