Our client is a fast-growing, venture-backed technology company providing advanced protection for modern, distributed digital environments. Their platform helps organisations identify, manage, and mitigate large-scale risk and service disruption, using intelligent automation and real-time analytics.
As they expand their UK go-to-market presence, they are hiring a Sales Engineer to join as one of the early technical GTM hires, supporting continued growth and customer adoption.
About the Role
This is a high-impact, early-stage builder role where you will lead the technical side of the sales cycle and help customers understand the value of the platform without overexposing proprietary capabilities. You will work closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering, acting as a trusted technical advisor while contributing to GTM execution.

- Support technical evaluations, RFP/RFI responses, and solution design
- Provide structured feedback to Product and Engineering to support roadmap decisions
- Act as the technical point of contact throughout the pre-sales lifecycle
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in a cybersecurity space within sales engineering, infrastructure, or related technical roles.
- Experience supporting mid-market or enterprise sales cycles in a Sales Engineer or pre-sales capacity
- Proven ability to support and influence revenue growth, including large and complex deals
- Solid familiarity with DDoS attacks concepts, threat monitoring, and AI security (without requiring deep specialisation)
- Prior experience working with or supporting startup or high-growth environments
- Strong ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with cloud-based environments and modern tooling preferred
- UK-based, fully remote, and comfortable working across time zones
