Role Overview
As a Junior Cyber Recruitment Consultant, you’ll work on a hot desk covering a range of exciting cyber security roles, primarily within early‑stage startups that have recently secured funding. You’ll be working with active, engaged clients and a strong pipeline of live roles, giving you the opportunity to learn fast and earn early.
You’ll work closely alongside our Managing Director, Senior Consultants, and Managing Consultants, receiving hands‑on training and mentorship to help you master the full recruitment lifecycle. You’ll learn how to source, qualify, and manage candidates effectively, build client relationships, and use industry‑leading recruitment platforms and technology to deliver results.
At CFG, we prioritise quality over quantity, focusing on strong relationships, exceptional service, and long‑term success rather than rigid KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the end‑to‑end recruitment process with guidance and support from senior leaders
- Sourcing and engaging candidates using multiple recruitment platforms and tools
- Learning how to identify, screen, and place high‑quality candidates within the cyber security market
- Communicating professionally and efficiently with clients, candidates, and internal teams
- Organising your schedule effectively and managing multiple roles simultaneously
- Building long‑term relationships with candidates and clients

Requirements
- At least 1–2 years’ experience in a sales‑driven or fast‑paced environment, such as retail, reselling, hospitality, consulting, recruitment, or B2B/B2C sales
- Educated to graduate level or school leaver with A‑Levels and a strong commercial mindset
- Confident communicator with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Highly motivated, driven, and eager to learn in a fast‑paced environment
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple prioritiesResilient, ambitious, and target‑driven with a strong work ethic
