Position Summary & Primary Objectives

You will be confident and seasoned to run complex DFIR investigations end to end, and provide comprehensive client reports. There is scope for this role to become a Team Lead as the practice grows.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of DFIR work with minimal guidance and direction required, including deployment and use of DFIR toolsets, collection of evidence sources, technical analysis of artefacts, and application of best practice analysis techniques.
  • Help ensure a high level of quality in the delivery of DFIR engagements, including technical work performed, client updates and reports, and presentation of results.
  • Take a leading role in the delivery of client engagements in accordance with the DFIR operational framework, including scoping requirements, defining technical work to be performed, drafting budget estimates, preparing engagement letters and other documentation, performing engagement administration, leading other team members, preparing deliverables, identifying engagement risks, and resolving engagement issues.

Preferred Qualifications, Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience as a DFIR senior investigator or equivalent.
  • Highly capable of consistently delivering high quality DFIR work with little guidance.
  • Attainment of at least three high quality DFIR certifications.
  • Ability to attain a further advanced high quality DFIR certification.
  • Highly effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills, building credibility with senior leaders and internal working teams.
  • Capable of taking responsibility for elements of engagement management.
