We are seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team and support business growth. Reporting to the Director of Sales, BDRs are the first point of contact with CyberClan. The BDR will act as a guide throughout the sales journey, who will inform, educate and consult with clients to properly connect them with the internal experts to support them further in the buying journey. The BDR will be responsible for turning customer prospects into qualified leads and future partners across the United Kingdom. The successful candidate will be a strong influencer with a track record of generating sales through relationships in cyber security, insurance and legal circles globally. The ideal candidate will have an energetic, can-do attitude and be comfortable working in a metrics-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of CyberClan’s service lines and articulate them effectively
- Schedule quality meetings between prospective clients and Account Executives
- Generate, respond to, and qualify leads through outbound calls, emails, and social media campaigns (LinkedIn), for all regions.
- Work with regional Account Executives and marketing to develop custom plans to address local markets and develop leads
- Promote and present company services and partnerships to potential clients
- Assess client needs, identify stakeholders, and connect internal resources to develop opportunities
- Update and maintain CRM with lead qualification notes, needs, and next steps
- Stay up to date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans
- Execute Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to business development objectives
- Support the Director of Sales and EVP of Sales & Revenue Operations with reporting, market planning, and business development efforts as needed
- Travel as needed for relationship management and customer facing requirements within the region
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Business Development Representative, preferably in selling cybersecurity services or products understanding of cyber insurance industry
- Proficiency in various sales techniques, including cold calling, emailing and utilizing lead generation tools (such as LinkedIn, ZoomInfo)
- Experienced with managing day-to-day CRM for capture, reporting, and forecasting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with strong time management and organizational skills
- A goal-driven individual who thrives on achieving targets, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth
