Job Description
CyberArk is looking for a motivated and focused Assistant Accountant. The successful candidate needs to demonstrate a strong knowledge and experience in Accounts Payable, expenses, general accounting & reporting. We are looking for a team player who uses best practices and knowledge of both internal and external business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support EMEA Finance Team with day to day accounting activities
- Support EMEA Finance Team in the preparation of the management reporting packs
- Assist with the preparation of the payment run for EMEA regions
- Prepare posting and reconciliation of Bank Transactions
- Posting of general Journal entries
- Assist with month close process, reconciling and confirming the balances of AR, AP & Expenses with third parties and employees on a timely basis
- Responsible for the set up and maintenance of user profile on our Travel database Egencia
- Support the monthly close process and reconciliation of balance sheet
- Implement, document and maintain adequate and effective processes to improve the close and reporting cycles to ensure timely and accurate reporting
- Ad hoc tasks as needed
Qualifications
- an AAT qualification is required
- Background/experience of working for a multi-national firm in the UK- will be an advantage
- ERP experience is desirable – Netsuite (Oracle)
- Proficiency in Excel skills
- Experience of dealing with outsourced firms
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Hardworking and flexible with the ability to work under pressure
- Attention to details, ability to juggle multiple tasks and to work under tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently as well as being a great team player
