Information Security Team
At Monzo, our mission is to make money work for everyone. Central to this is making sure the bank is safe and secure for our customers. We’re always keen to hear from people who believe in our mission and want to join us on this journey.
This is a very exciting opportunity to join our Information Security Squad for a 14-month FTC. We’re focused on building security processes that allow the bank to move at pace, while protecting our customers.
- Contributing to information security projects as part of our security programme.
- Operating critical security processes, such as our regular user access review, third-party security risk assessments, and compliance exercises.
- Working with our external partners to support the Bank’s compliance with PCI:DSS (the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard).
- Making sure we’re forward-looking by staying ahead of new security threats, innovations in technology, and emerging risks.
- Working closely with internal audit and risk teams to ensure security controls are properly implemented and regularly assessed for effectiveness.
- Working closely with developers, product managers, and other teams to deliver all of the above.

- You’re a good communicator: you can clearly communicate your ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- You have experience supporting compliance with PCI:DSS: You have some experience working with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard.
Experience in a similar financial services role or a highly regulated environment, and security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Cyber Security Analyst+, or CISM are a plus!
What’s in it for you
£40,000 – £50,000 share options. This role can be based in our London office, but we’re open to distributed working within the UK (with ad hoc meetings in London). Please note this will be a 14-month fixed-term-contract.
