In your new job as a Senior Commercial Account Handler/ Broker, you will be working for one of the UK's top independent insurance brokers who strongly believe the relationships they have built with their clients, in order to fully understand their unique insurance requirements is why they have had over 100 years of success. With offices throughout the country, they have a long and distinguished legacy in providing insurance services and solutions. Due to continued growth within the Commercial team, a Senior Commercial Account Handler / Senior Broker position has become available.

Your new role

Your new role as a Senior Commercial Account Handler / Senior Broker means that you will be responsible for ensuring that the best personal service is given to clients and insurers where you will be dealing with them from inception to completion. Working alongside Account Executives, your duties will include handling cases up to a net premium of £50,000+ and handling the renewal process from cradle on your own or with an account executive and be responsible for producing and proposing new business presentations for underwriters. You will be using Acturis daily and preparing presentations for the market. This role will be handling commercial business including Property Owners, Cyber, ML, Commercial Combined, Fleet CAR etc and includes frequent use of Acturis.

What you'll need to succeed

Your previous experience working as a Senior Commercial Account Handler or in a similar position handling commercial business will contribute to your success in this role. Ideally, you will be proficient in using Acturis and be able to prepare suitable documentation for the client's requirements. You will also have good knowledge of cover requirements for commercial clients. This role would suit a candidate who can come in and hit the ground running, managing their own portfolio and contributing effectively from day one.
