We're looking for a Power BI specialist to partner closely with business stakeholders and deliver high‑quality reporting solutions. This role sits between the business and data teams, translating requirements into scalable dashboards and robust data models while ensuring consistency across reporting outputs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with teams across the business to gather reporting needs and translate them into clear technical requirements.
  • Define KPIs, metrics, and expected outputs aligned to business objectives.
  • Manage requests through a structured lifecycle including build, testing, and deployment.
  • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders throughout delivery.
  • Own and enhance Power BI semantic models to support reporting requirements.
  • Develop and maintain DAX measures in line with agreed business logic.
  • Build models that are scalable, user‑friendly, and suitable for both dashboards and self‑service reporting.
  • Collaborate with analytics and engineering teams to maintain consistency in reporting standards.
  • Support development of the reporting layer within the data warehouse using SQL.
  • Create and maintain reporting tables and views.
  • Work closely with data engineers to ensure outputs follow dimensional modelling best practices.
  • Investigate and resolve data quality issues, ensuring outputs reconcile with source systems.
  • Improve performance across both SQL queries and Power BI models.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Power BI, including DAX.
  • Experience using Power BI Service, including publishing, workspace management, and scheduled refreshes.
  • Advanced T-SQL skills, including views, stored procedures, CTEs, and window functions.
  • Solid understanding of data modelling concepts such as fact and dimension tables, and star schemas.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience with Azure Synapse or similar cloud data platforms.
  • Knowledge of Power Query (M language).
  • Understanding of Power BI performance optimisation techniques.
  • Familiarity with Git and structured release or deployment processes.
  • Experience working in Real-Estates companies is a great nice to have.
