What you'll be doing:
- Co-ordinate, manage and ensure that the annual security training programme is delivered, developing the structure to ensure sustained long-term delivery.
- Develop and deliver security training material to a range of communities across business functions and create a metric framework to measure effectiveness of the awareness and training programme.
- Conduct training needs analysis and offer solutions to satisfy business requirements in the most efficient and effective way.
- Drive security best practice through knowledge sharing to ensure consistency within the business area and compliance with security policies and practices.
- Build & maintain effective relationships and coordination with key local functions and business representatives.
- Support employees in developing knowledge, experience and understanding of good security behaviour to support company outputs and positively influence security culture.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and key point of contact for all internal security awareness initiatives within Maritime & Land.
- Measure training effectiveness through metrics reporting and user feedback; use insights to improve content.
Your skills and experiences:
- The job holder is expected to have good business acumen within the security function and relevant business group.
- Holds an in-depth understanding of corporate communications and training.
- Good knowledge of government and industry standard security policy, standards and best practice guidance.
- Willingness to obtain a Security qualification where relevant such as Security Institute/Defence Industry Security Association (DISA) or already possesses Bachelor's degree in Education, Journalism, a security discipline or ample experience working in a corporate communications, training or security environment.

Security Operations Team:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Training and Awareness Lead to design, implement and manage a robust security awareness and training program within the Maritime & Land Defence Solutions business of BAE Systems. You will manage the security awareness and security training programme, building a strong security culture, in order to protect BAE Systems, its people, infrastructure, information and assets, as well as the interests of its shareholders and customers, and to fulfil regulatory and legal obligations.
