The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 ÂŁ per year.
Due to the sensitive nature of this role, you will be required to undergo DV (Developed Vetting) level Security Clearance. An allowance of ÂŁ5k per annum may be payable monthly while you hold this DV and continue to work in a role that requires that level of security clearance. The terms of this allowance will be made available if you are successful in being recruited into this role.

The Software Engineering Professional supports the execution of the software engineering strategy and roadmap that supports BT's commercial strategy through crossâfunctional project and technical delivery and the participation of a team that pursues innovation as well as engineering excellence.
This job role can be based in Cheltenham or Manchester. Onsite (5 days office based). MondayâFriday 9amâ5pm. You will need to be eligible to obtain DV Security Clearance before starting this role. You will need to have lived in the UK for 10+ years to be eligible.
What youâll be doing
- Supports the design and development of software solutions in accordance with the wider architecture and security standards
- Supports in the execution of technical decisions, technology choices and architecture for a wide range of highâperformance products, capabilities, and platforms, effectively balancing shortâterm impact with longâterm transformation
- Maintains systems by monitoring and correcting software defects
- Supports the implementation and maintenance of highâquality tools and automation processes to support continuous delivery and developer productivity
- Writes, tests and reviews code, refining and rewriting as necessary under supervision and communicates to engineering professionals and colleagues involved in the project
