The opportunity
I'm working on an excellent opportunity for an experienced Operational Resilience, Cyber Resilience or Crisis Management professional to join a rapidly growing specialist advisory team working with some of the largest and most complex organisations across Financial Services.
This is a senior, client-facing position combining resilience expertise, commercial leadership and strategic advisory work.
You’ll work directly with senior executives, including C-Suite and Board-level stakeholders, helping organisations prepare for and respond to major operational and technology-related disruption, from cyber incidents and critical supplier failures through to large-scale technology change and regulatory resilience programmes.
For someone who enjoys operating at the intersection of cyber, technology, operational risk and business resilience, this offers considerable scope to shape client strategy while also contributing to the growth of the wider practice.
What you'll be doing
- Operational and cyber resilience transformation
- Technology and digital resilience
- Crisis and incident management
- Business continuity and disaster recovery
- Third-party and supply-chain resilience
- Cloud and IT service resilience
- Scenario planning, simulations and resilience testing
- Operational and enterprise risk
- Preparing organisations for major cyber incidents and other high-impact disruption
Alongside delivery, you’ll take ownership of senior client relationships, identify new opportunities and help grow key Financial Services accounts.
You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of new digital and AI-enabled resilience services, alongside thought leadership and market-facing initiatives.
What we're looking for
This opportunity would suit someone with substantial experience across operational resilience and business continuity, ideally gained within Financial Services, consulting, or another highly regulated environment.
You're likely to bring:
- Strong knowledge of UK Financial Services operational resilience requirements and regulatory expectations
- Experience across several areas of resilience, such as cyber/technology resilience, third-party resilience, crisis management, disaster recovery, cloud resilience or operational risk
- Experience designing or leading scenario exercises, simulations, crisis testing or resilience programmes
- The ability to understand complex organisations, critical services, technology dependencies and vulnerabilities
- Confidence engaging and influencing C-Suite and Board-level stakeholders
- Experience leading complex programmes, engagements and multidisciplinary teams
- A strong commercial mindset with experience developing client relationships and identifying new business opportunities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Why consider it?
This isn’t purely a delivery role.
You’ll have the opportunity to become a senior voice within a growing resilience capability, working on complex challenges affecting major Financial Services organisations while helping develop new propositions and client relationships.
It offers an unusual combination of cyber and technology resilience, crisis management, operational risk, strategic consulting and commercial leadership.
Based in London or Manchester with hybrid working, alongside some travel to client locations where required.
