A Security Consultant will enable clients in clearly understanding their exposure to security threats/risks, and putting in place pragmatic and cost effective controls. This includes assessing risks at the technical or system process level, and measuring the associated business impact, via document review or structured questionnaires.

They may also lead client interviews and small investigations, creation of risk assessments and reports, or security assessments, or workstreams within wider projects. They will proficiently translate framework controls into business requirements in straightforward situations, whilst applying standard framework or relevant BAE Systems IPR/standard approaches.
