Principal Data & Analytics Architect - UK-Wide - Remote (Client-based) - Up to £100,000

We're seeking an experienced data architect to join a growing consultancy in delivering enterprise-wide data, AI and analytics programmes across their Microsoft ecosystem.

This is a strategic and customer-facing role where you'll act as the technical authority across client engagements and designing modern data platforms.

The Role

  • Lead the architecture, design and delivery of enterprise-scale data and analytics solutions.
  • Act as the design authority POC across strategic data and analytics programmes.
  • Architect modern data platforms leveraging the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Lead customer workshops and discovery sessions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Support pre-sales activities including solution design, demonstrations, proposals and tender responses.
  • Collaborate closely with project and delivery teams to ensure successful implementation and adoption.
  • Mentor architects and consultants while promoting knowledge sharing and technical excellence.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Extensive experience designing and delivering enterprise data and analytics solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Expertise in modern data architecture patterns.
  • Proven background in designing reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture, governance, security and data platforms.
  • Experience supporting pre-sales and business development activities.
