Hays is partnering with a leading global professional services organisation to recruit Managers and Senior Managers into its Cyber Strategy & Transformation practice.

This is a highly client-facing consulting role where you'll help complex organisations understand their most significant cyber risks, make informed strategic decisions and turn those priorities into practical transformation programmes.

You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders including CISOs, CIOs, risk leaders and business executives, while leading multidisciplinary teams across complex cyber engagements.

At Senior Manager level, the position carries increased commercial and leadership responsibility, including developing senior client relationships, shaping propositions, identifying new opportunities and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.

  • Assessing cyber risk and capability and translating findings into clear priorities and achievable transformation roadmaps.
  • Developing practical solutions across cyber strategy, risk, transformation, governance and operating models.
  • Translating complex cyber, technology and regulatory issues into clear business implications and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • Working with recognised cyber security frameworks, standards and regulatory requirements, including NIST CSF, ISO 27001, NCSC CAF, CRI and NIS2.
  • Leading multidisciplinary teams, setting direction and maintaining high-quality delivery.
  • Managing delivery risks, dependencies, competing priorities and client expectations.
  • Building trusted relationships with senior clients and stakeholders.
  • Identifying client needs and contributing to proposals, pitches and commercial conversations.

  • Building relationships across the wider organisation to create opportunities.
  • Coaching and developing colleagues.
  • Contributing to the strategic direction and growth of the Cyber Strategy & Transformation practice.
  • What we’re looking for

We’re looking for experienced cyber professionals who combine strong cyber knowledge with consulting, leadership and commercial capability.

You should ideally bring

  • Strong experience within cyber strategy, cyber risk, governance, transformation or cyber operating models.
  • Experience assessing cyber risk or capability and translating findings into clear actions or transformation roadmaps.
  • Knowledge of recognised frameworks and standards such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, NCSC CAF, CRI or NIS2.
  • Strong client-facing experience with the ability to build credibility with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience leading teams, engagements or significant project workstreams.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex cyber issues into concise, executive-level messages.
  • Experience managing competing priorities, delivery risks and dependencies.
  • Experience contributing to business development, proposals, pitches or commercial conversations.

For Senior Manager candidates, we’re particularly interested in individuals who can demonstrate a strong track record of senior client relationship management, business development, proposition development and leading complex consulting engagements.

Desirable experience

Experience within a professional services or consulting environment would be advantageous, alongside exposure to large-scale cyber, technology or business transformation programmes.

Experience developing new propositions or services, working across complex organisations, or using AI and emerging technologies to improve analysis and delivery would also be beneficial.

Relevant professional qualifications in cyber security, information security or risk would be advantageous but aren’t essential.

Why consider this opportunity?

This is an opportunity to take a senior role within an established Cyber Strategy & Transformation practice, working on complex and strategically important cyber challenges.

You’ll have the opportunity to advise senior decision-makers, lead multidisciplinary teams and broaden your experience across cyber strategy, transformation, governance and risk, while continuing to develop your leadership and commercial capabilities.
