We are seeking a data leader who can drive the analysis, validation and optimisation of crossâasset trading and postâtrade processes within a large, complex and highly regulated financial environment. This role sits at the centre of major multiâyear transformation projects focused on data quality, trade lifecycle integrity and strategic change across Investment Banking technology.
This position is ideal for someone with strong business analysis expertise, deep understanding of the trade lifecycle, and the ability to translate complex operational, regulatory and dataâdriven requirements into clear, actionable solutions. You will lead data mapping, influence system design, support change delivery and ensure trading and postâtrade processes meet the highest standards of accuracy, control and performance.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders, technologists, product owners and SMEs, shaping business requirements, improving controls and data flow accuracy and contributing to enterpriseâwide operating model improvements.
Responsibilities- Lead analysis across trade capture, lifecycle events and postâtrade processes
- Own data mapping across multiple trading systems and ensure data accuracy
- Define clear business requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria
- Produce process documentation and support Agile delivery activities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to validate solutions and strengthen controls
- Strong background in business analysis within capital markets or postâtrade
- Experience with trade lifecycle data mapping and standards (FpML, ISO 20022)
- Knowledge of derivatives, settlements, confirmations and regulatory workflows
- Strong communication skills and experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
- Ability to analyse data using SQL and interpret technical/operational impacts
- Salary up to ÂŁ120,000, depending on experience
- Hybrid working model â twice per week in London
