We're partnering with a leading Microsoft Partner seeking an experienced Microsoft Fabric Consultant to support a range of enterprise client engagements. This role requires a consultant who can operate across the full Microsoft Fabric stack, combining strong backend data engineering expertise with frontend Power BI development and stakeholder engagement skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and optimise end-to-end solutions within Microsoft Fabric.
- Develop and maintain Fabric Lakehouses, Warehouses, Data Pipelines and Dataflows.
- Build scalable data ingestion and transformation processes using Fabric and related Azure technologies.
- Design and develop Power BI dashboards, reports and semantic models.
- Create complex DAX measures and data models to support business reporting requirements.
- Work directly with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Support Fabric migrations, platform enhancements and best practice implementation.
- Provide guidance on data architecture, governance, performance optimisation and reporting strategy.
Required Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
- Experience across both backend data engineering and frontend BI/reporting.
- Advanced Power BI development skills including DAX, data modelling and semantic models.
- Experience building Lakehouse and Warehouse solutions.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Azure Data Factory and/or Azure Databricks experience beneficial.
- Previous consultancy or client-facing experience.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Security Requirements
- Active SC Clearance highly desirable.
- Candidates who have held SC Clearance within the last 12 months will also be considered.
Contract Details
- £450 per day
- Outside IR35
- Initial 3-month contract
- Rolling extensions
- Mostly remote
