Lead the delivery of modern Data & AI initiatives on the Azure and Microsoft stack.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead globally distributed engineering teams, driving clarity, consistency and strong outcomes.
  • Embed engineering standards, sprint discipline and predictable delivery rhythms.
  • Coach and develop engineering leads to strengthen internal capability.
  • Align priorities and unblock delivery across multiple teams.
  • Oversee vendor-led engineering delivery, ensuring quality and value for money.
  • Own service stability, including Level 2/3 support practices and smooth service transitions.
  • Champion continuous improvement across tooling, processes and engineering maturity.

Team collaboration:

  • Global engineering teams across Data Platforms, Power Platform and Collaboration tools.
  • Senior stakeholders across Digital Transformation, IT, Product and Project teams.
  • External delivery partners and vendors.
  • A modern Microsoft and Azure ecosystem including Databricks, Fabric, Azure, Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint and Azure DevOps.

Required experience:

  • Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
  • Strong background working across multi-vendor delivery models.
  • Solid understanding of Agile delivery, sprint planning and delivery assurance.
  • Broad technical knowledge of Azure, Databricks, Fabric, Power Platform, SharePoint and DevOps.
  • Experience scaling teams and maturing engineering functions.
  • Confident communicator with strong senior stakeholder management skills.
  • Azure certifications beneficial (degree desirable but not essential).
