About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Developer to play a key role in the design, development, and delivery of business-critical technology solutions, with a particular focus on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform ecosystem. This is a hands‑on technical position where you will contribute to the architecture, development, integration, and continuous improvement of enterprise systems. Acting as a senior technical specialist, you will help shape development standards, provide expert guidance to stakeholders, and ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with business objectives. Working closely with technical teams, business users, and external partners, you will solve complex technical challenges, identify opportunities for improvement, and support the delivery of high‑quality digital services across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain integrations between business applications using Microsoft technologies, including .NET, C#, Power Platform components, APIs, and SQL-based tools.
- Build and enhance enterprise application and data integration solutions to improve system performance, reliability, and data quality.
- Identify and implement opportunities for automation and process optimisation across business systems.
- Establish and promote development and integration best practices, ensuring solutions are maintainable and scalable.
- Monitor integrations and system processes, proactively resolving issues and implementing preventative measures.
- Investigate application and data‑related incidents, perform root cause analysis, and deliver long‑term fixes.

- Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, contributing expertise throughout the solution lifecycle.

About You
You will have significant experience designing and delivering solutions within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform ecosystem, supported by relevant technical qualifications or equivalent professional experience. You will possess strong expertise in:
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 configuration, customisation, and extension
- Power Platform technologies, including Power Automate and Dataverse
- System integration, APIs, and data migration strategies
- SQL Server and relational data modelling
- C#, .NET, and modern development frameworks
- Source control, automated testing, code reviews, and CI/CD practices
You are comfortable taking ownership of complex technical challenges, balancing short‑term business needs with long‑term solution design considerations. You can work effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders, translating requirements into practical and sustainable solutions.
Desirable Experience
- Microsoft certifications related to Dynamics 365, Power Platform, or Azure
- Experience working within mission‑driven, public sector, membership, or not‑for‑profit environments
- Knowledge of Azure services, cloud‑native technologies, and integration platforms
