Role
- Support the management of the group's global insurance programme across multiple lines, with particular focus on financial lines including D&O, PI, cyber and crime.
- Work closely with brokers and insurers to support renewals, placement strategy and the structuring of coverage in the London market and across international programmes.
- Manage the operational side of the programme, including premiums, policy administration, local policies and multinational coordination.
- Act as an internal subject‑matter expert on insurance matters, advising business stakeholders on coverage requirements, contractual clauses and risk transfer decisions.
- Support the handling of claims and insurance‑related issues as they arise, including more complex or sensitive scenarios.
- Strengthen processes, controls and governance across the insurance programme, with first‑line ownership of key activity.
- Contribute to wider projects, including M&A activity, due diligence, post‑deal integration and the assessment of emerging risks.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in corporate insurance, London market broking or underwriting, with strong exposure to financial lines products such as D&O, PI, cyber and crime.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across Treasury, Legal, Finance and the wider business.
- Experience dealing directly with brokers and/or insurers, with a sound understanding of how programmes are structured and renewed.
- Comfortable working in a small team and operating in a hands‑on, relatively unstructured environment.
- Able to explain insurance concepts clearly to non‑specialists and provide practical, commercially minded advice.
