We are seeking an interim, strategic and hands-on technology leader to guide the direction of change and IT operations across the business. The role will focus on maintaining a reliable technology environment, elevating service delivery, ensuring business continuity, compliance, and strengthening the organisation's security and resilience posture.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the evolution of IT operations and service delivery, ensuring excellence and reliability
- Review and optimise service frameworks and performance metrics (SLAs, KPIs)
- Manage third-party vendors and ensure strong value and compliance
- Provide steady leadership during a period of transition, maintaining continuity across business operations
- Work closely with the executive team to align technology priorities with business goals
- Support the onboarding of a future permanent CIO and ensure smooth knowledge transfer
Cybersecurity Management:
- Partner with the security team to enhance cybersecurity strategy, governance, and resilience
- Lead risk assessments, vulnerability scans and management, incident response, and regulatory compliance
- Ensure compliance with industrial standards and relevant cybersecurity regulations
What we’re looking for:
- Proven track record leading enterprise-scale IT operations or transformation programmes
- Strong grasp of IT service management, cybersecurity, and vendor governance
- Collaborative leader with the ability to balance strategic direction and hands-on delivery
- Solid experience within the financial services or insurance industry, with strong global exposure
- Eligibility to work in the UK is mandatory
