CIO (Interim) - Cybersecurity delivery

We are seeking an interim, strategic and hands‑on technology leader to guide the direction of change and IT operations across the business. The role will focus on maintaining a reliable technology environment, elevating service delivery, ensuring business continuity, compliance, and strengthening the organisation\’s security and resilience posture.

What you’ll do:

• Lead the evolution of IT operations and service delivery, ensuring excellence and reliability
• Review and optimise service frameworks and performance metrics (SLAs, KPIs)
• Manage third‑party vendors and ensure strong value and compliance
• Provide steady leadership during a period of transition, maintaining continuity across business operations
• Work closely with the executive team to align technology priorities with business goals
• Support the onboarding of a future permanent CIO and ensure smooth knowledge transfer

Cybersecurity Management:

• Partner with the security team to enhance cybersecurity strategy, governance, and resilience
• Lead risk assessments, vulnerability scans and management, incident response, and regulatory compliance
• Ensure compliance with industrial standards and relevant cybersecurity regulations

What we’re looking for:

• Proven track record leading enterprise‑scale IT operations or transformation programmes
• Strong grasp of IT service management, cybersecurity, and vendor governance
• Collaborative leader with the ability to balance strategic direction and hands‑on delivery
• Solid experience within the financial services or insurance industry, with strong global exposure
• Eligibility to work in the UK is mandatory
