What you'll be doing
- You will be working closely with Business Analysts to support requirements gathering.
- Contributing to the development and production of solution options and selecting down to present to business stakeholders.
- Supporting with demand management meetings to help route requirements appropriately to delivery teams or convert to projects.
- Aligning any incoming demand to the functional and overall strategic roadmap.
- Producing Architecture governance documentation whilst adhering to and following BAE principles and guidelines.
- Supporting with the production of high level designs to gain quotations from the IT service provider to support with the mobilisation of IT projects.
- Identifying and recording Architecture debt and decisions.
Your skills and experiences
Essential
- Experience gained in translating business requirements into solutions and select down process.
- Prior initial knowledge and experience gained within modelling and solution architecture.
- Knowledge and experience of The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF).
- Competency gained in identifying risks and opportunities.
Desirable
- Knowledge and experience of Business Analysis Process.
- Knowledge of the IT function – teams within the function and their high level responsibilities.

The IT Product Fulfilment team
By joining us in the team, you will have a fantastic opportunity to engage with multiple stakeholders across the business, determining their requirements, liaising with internal IT stakeholders and advising on IT solutions to meet them, while ensuring alignment with the functional and organisational strategy/roadmap. You will play a key part in some of our most complex and exciting programmes to date. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
