Join to apply for the Procurement Professional role at Cyber Security Forum Initiative. Location: Glascoed (1-2 days per week on site). £32.18 an hour, Umbrella, Inside IR35. 6-Month initial contract. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within one of the UK's leading Defence organizations based in Glascoed. It involves hybrid working with 1-2 days on site per week.

Duties:

  • Working on current contracts, supporting new bids for existing products, and managing general supply chain requirements.
  • Negotiating pricing and contracting terms and conditions.
  • Managing supplier performance and relationships to ensure delivery, quality, financial stability, and in-service performance.
  • Resolving operational issues promptly.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day performance of assigned categories and suppliers concerning Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
  • Optimizing supply chain execution by balancing inventory, supply orders, and demand schedules.

Knowledge:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SAP.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience working with SAP processes and understanding their impact.
  • Strong business acumen and commercial awareness to gather, report, and analyze relevant information, and to identify effective solutions.

Desirable Skills:

  • Ability to engage and influence internal stakeholders.
  • Effective communication skills with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, demonstrating courtesy, diplomacy, and tact, aligned with the company's conduct code.
