Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience working in the water sector? If so, please read on! I am currently recruiting on behalf of an exciting consultancy based in Manchester delivering a variety of water projects all around the UK, and multiple mechanical design engineers are needed to work on the expansion of the design function/capability. I am after both engineer and senior engineer level, so if you are a mechanical engineer with water experience, you are welcome to apply whatever level you’re at.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for producing designs, calculations, and drawings for various water projects, ensuring compliance with the relevant technical and safety standards. Working with other engineering disciplines and project teams, you will be part of a team working to deliver in a busy, fast-paced environment.

Experience

  • Around 5+ years of experience working in mechanical design for the water industry is essential.
  • A degree, HND, or strong exposure from previous work experience.
  • Any experience with hydraulics and UMON schemes would be ideal.
