Our Cyber Threat Hunting, Intelligence & Defence team within Cyber Threat Defence works to continuously strengthen the organisation's cyber security posture through research, intelligence, threat monitoring, and collaboration across defensive and response functions. This team partners across public and private sectors to identify and mitigate threats impacting critical infrastructure and global customers. The Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) Lead for EMEA is responsible for leading regional threat intelligence operations and delivering actionable intelligence to support cyber defence outcomes. This role oversees intelligence collection, analysis, and dissemination activities across the EMEA region and collaborates closely with global teams to support a coordinated Follow the Sun (FTS) intelligence model, ensuring continuous threat visibility and response across regions.

Responsibilities

  • The position of Cyber Threat Intelligence Lead - EMEA is responsible for leading regional teams of threat intelligence analysts and directing intelligence operations to identify, analyse, and respond to emerging cyber threats.
  • The Cyber Threat Intelligence Lead will collaborate with defensive control owners, incident response, threat research teams, and global counterparts to track and defend against evolving threat tactics, techniques, and procedures.
  • A key component of the role is enabling and contributing to the global Follow-the-Sun (FTS) model by ensuring seamless intelligence handover, coordination, and coverage across regions.
  • The role requires strong leadership, a solid technical background in cyber security and threat intelligence, and the ability to operate effectively across a complex, geographically dispersed organisation.
  • The role will work closely with Global Information Security operational and technical teams to gain insight into security controls and architectural environments to enhance the tracking, analysis, and defence against cyber threat actors.
  • This includes ensuring that intelligence outputs and workflows align with global FTS processes to maintain continuous, high-quality intelligence coverage.
  • This role contributes to product assessments, process improvements, and security enhancements, and provides regional leadership in the development of effective detective, preventative, and proactive controls.

Qualifications

  • You will be responsible for delivering Cyber Threat Intelligence capabilities and programmes across the EMEA region.
  • You will have direct experience performing cyber threat intelligence in a corporate or operational environment.
  • Proven experience leading teams in Cyber Security, with significant experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence.
  • Experience managing teams, including analysts and/or technical individual contributors.
  • Ability to lead and manage threat intelligence operations to ensure efficient workflows and delivery of actionable intelligence.
  • Proven knowledge of tactics, techniques, and procedures associated with cybercrime, insider threat, and state and non-state threat actors.
  • Experience collecting, analysing, and producing cyber threat intelligence from multiple sources.
  • Proven experience communicating and summarising cyber threat intelligence to senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to apply cyber threat intelligence through enrichment, correlation, and attribution.
  • Ability to provide guidance on threat trends, analysis approaches, and defensive strategies to stakeholders.
  • Experience contributing to or operating within a Follow the Sun (FTS) model, including cross-regional coordination, handover processes, and continuous coverage.
  • Experience with offensive security concepts and threat vectors (DDoS, malware, phishing).
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and stakeholder requirements to drive outcomes.
  • Ability to work effectively across a complex, global organisation and collaborate with international teams.
  • Experience with threat intelligence platforms, tools, and vendors.
  • Experience supporting or contributing to incident response or major security investigations.
