Role Description

The Executive Threat Prevention role within GIS Cyber Crime Defense protects senior leaders from cyber‑enabled, reputational, and emerging cyber to physical threats through intelligence‑led risk reduction and discreet operational execution. This role serves as the central integration point across Global Information Security, Corporate Security & Executive Protection, Corporate Communications, and HR to anticipate, prevent, and respond to threats targeting executives and their families. The position requires exceptional judgment, confidentiality, and executive presence, operating in high‑sensitivity, high‑visibility environments.

Responsibilities

  • Operate within a Follow‑the‑Sun (FTS) with occasional weekends model to support continuous monitoring, brand protection, and takedown actions.
  • Serve as a trusted security partner to senior executives, providing tailored cyber risk guidance and ongoing advisory support.
  • Identify and reduce executive digital exposure across PII, public records, breach data, and online footprints.
  • Lead efforts to remove, suppress, and prevent re‑emergence of sensitive data using internal tools and external partners.
  • Detect and remediate impersonation threats (social media, domains, fraud, deepfakes) targeting executives and families.
  • Monitor and analyse threats across open, deep, and dark web sources to identify early risk indicators.
  • Partner across cyber intelligence, investigations, and corporate security to assess threats and enable disruption.
  • Triage and escalate cybercrime alerts and incidents across multiple data sources to appropriate teams and partners.
  • Lead executive cyber incident response and support readiness through training and tabletop exercises.
  • Drive program maturity by contributing to strategy, governance, reporting, and scalable risk‑based operations.

What we are looking for

  • Executive‑facing judgment, discretion, and confidentiality; ability to engage senior leaders with credibility and professionalism.
  • Demonstrated experience identifying and triaging cyber‑enabled threats, including PII exposure, impersonation, fraud, and social engineering attacks.
  • A deep understanding of OSINT tradecraft, data aggregation ecosystems, and adversarial use of publicly available information.
  • Experience conducting digital exposure reduction, including PII removal, impersonation takedowns, and online risk remediation across diverse platforms.
  • Ability to identify patterns, anomalies, and escalation indicators across fragmented datasets and threat signals.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and analysis across open, deep, and dark web environments.
  • Experience contributing to playbooks, operational processes, dashboards, and case management frameworks.
  • Written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate complex risk into clear, executive‑level insights and recommendations.
  • Proven ability to coordinate across security, corporate security/executive protection, legal, corporate communications, and HR in sensitive situations.
  • Experience managing vendors and external partners, including tracking, escalation, and SLA governance.
  • Proficiency with operational tracking and reporting tools (Jira, Excel, PowerPoint or equivalent).
  • Background in law enforcement, intelligence, or investigative disciplines is a plus.
