We are seeking someone with experience and expertise in leadership & management to join the School of Health Sciences at the University of Southampton to deliver leadership education at UG and PGT levels.
You will primarily be involved in the delivery of our MSc Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care and wider pre-registration curricula.
We are also seeking someone who can lead the MSc programme for an initial period of 3 years following its recent revalidation.
The existing team is experienced and can provide a transition to the programme and programme leadership.
You will have an exceptional understanding of issues facing leaders in health and social care settings.
We are looking for someone who shares our passion for outstanding education and has a dynamic vision for how education and research can transform health care.
You will facilitate teaching, learning and assessment, provide academic guidance to students, and drive recruitment activity both onto the MSc programme and at the module level for continuing professional development.
You will have a commitment to excellence in the development of future leaders.
You will be challenging, innovative and creative, using these skills to further advance the delivery of the programme.
You will have the opportunity to work with highly experienced academics to support your own ongoing professional development.
Ideally, you will have considerable experience of working in a higher education institution and will have been involved the delivery of a Leadership and Management in healthcare programme.
However, an experienced clinician, working in clinical leadership but with proven educational skills and experience.
Ideally you will hold a Ph D or be working towards such a qualification.
